No-Cook Greek Yogurt Parfait
Layers of creamy yogurt, sweet berries, and a little crunch — a cool, no-cook breakfast or snack that needs nothing more than a spoon.
Not every meal needs heat. When the stove feels like too much, a layered parfait gives you something cool, creamy, and nourishing with zero cooking. It belongs in any collection of no-cook recipes for older adults.
Greek yogurt brings protein and calcium, the berries add gentle sweetness and fiber, and a sprinkle of granola gives you that pleasant little crunch on top.
How to make it
Spoon half of the Greek yogurt into a glass or small bowl.
Add a layer of berries, then a light sprinkle of granola.
Spoon the rest of the yogurt on top, then finish with the remaining berries and granola.
Drizzle with honey and add a mint leaf or two if you have them.
Serve right away, or cover and chill for up to a few hours.
Cook's note
If berries are out of season, thawed frozen berries work beautifully and release a little sweet juice that soaks into the yogurt. Softer fruit is also easier to chew.
